Step 1. Open an Account!
You can open up an AJ Bell account on their website.
Once you own shares in a company on your platform you will be able to engage with proxy voting at that company's AGM (make sure to check whether the platform your using offers proxy voting in the regions you want to invest).
If you already have an account move straight to Step 2!
Step 2. Send Voting Intent
AJ Bell does not send you an email notification for AGM voting (it may for some 'Extraordinary General Meetings')
To vote at AGMs you have to navigate to 'Secure messages'
Then you can send the customer support team a request to vote or attend an AGM (it suggests giving at least 5 days notice)
